The Feeling's Switch

Have you ever loved a person so much that you started hating them? Have you ever hated someone so much  that you fell in love with them? Some of you might shake your head in a dismal but think over. All of us have faced such feeling sometime or the other. Feelings, sometimes seem to have a switch of their own that keeps on getting switched on and off.
When I talk of love it does not refer to the love you have towards your lovers, I talk of love in general; even the love you might show towards you friends. I remember, a good friend of mine had a best friend for a few years. They gelled along well, talked about everything and anything but then my friend started to avoid her friend. At first I didn't mean to intrude but out of anxiety had to ask what the matter was with the two best friends. She told me that when their friendship first sprang she looked only at the good qualities her friend had but later as they spent more and more time together she felt repulsed by the not so good attributes of her nature and realized that she already started to feel annoyed in her friend's company; and soon drifted apart. Now, when I talk about her friend she at times makes a face showing her dislike towards her former best friend. Their love turned into dislike and I think it would have turned into hatred of they would have spent some more time together.
Another instance is in complete contradiction to the above scenario. I knew a girl, who was a person who was easy to irritate and had a friend who loved to irritate the people around him. At first they burst into arguments when ever they spoke. The guy found it highly entertaining but the girl was always annoyed in his presence. Years passed and this childish play subsided. Now when they came across only a few pleasantries were exchanged. The girl once told me that how much she misses being teased but the guy never teases her anymore. She said it was like he had got under skin and it was difficult for her to shake him off her mind and heart. He had become an inseparable part of her existence. She had somewhere in the middle of their childish fights started loving him Her once upon a time hatred had turned into sweet love.
There are times that flip your feeling's switch and you realize it too late. Feelings play a game of their own. Destiny has it's own way of making us fall in love then in hate or make us fall in hate first and then in love. If I had to offer a piece of advice to escape this situation of love-hate and hate-love then, it would be:
When you love a person then love then without any conditions and demands and accept them with all their flaws.
And when you hate a person don't  let them get under your skin by thinking about them way too much.

The Limited Edition- For Everyone

I was extremely excited to buy myself the limited edition Tag Heuer. So I went to this watch showroom, asked for it and bought it immediately. It was a month later that the priceless (for me it was) watch became non-functional; it agitated me. I went to the showroom only to realize that the watch was a first copy. I was upset to realize the effect it had on my pocket. The showroom manager told me that the sum I had paid for it could not be refunded but they would at the earliest provide me with original piece of the limited edition. That did lift my spirits but I was bothered to not have been able to differentiate between the first copy and the original piece.
Is this not what happens when we fall in love and out of it? Here, your one true love is the limited edition. And the first copy refers to the times we think we are in love before we actually find the person to be the first copy of the soul mate we are destined to be with. The time we spend with the first copies is a mixture of a few good memories and a few bad ones. For example the moment we think that it is just the right person for us, gives us immense pleasure. And point of realization of wrongness of the person in our life makes us upset. We question the fraud God did to us but he stays silent because he knows the right time for providing us with the single edition- Our life's one true love! God has Limited Edition- For Everyone

You only have one soul mate in your lifetime-Your Single Edition
And the rest are just the first copies of that single edition!

Surprise! Surprise!

"I wish I could see tomorrow!" They say.
Would life be the same if we knew what tomorrow has in store for us? No, because then we would definitely mold it they way we want our life to be. JUST PERFECT! I personally think perfection is too over rated. It is simply boring. NO FUN, NO EXCITEMENT, NO SURPRISES! The suspense and thrill life has when it is unknown is unmatchable.
The confusions, the mistakes, the laughs, the tears, the goodbyes would never happen if we knew tomorrow. If everything would be known then, you would miss out on the real experiences of life; that make you YOU. Then you would be just the way you were yesterday and today. You grow stronger by committing mistakes, correcting them and making new ones.
The mistakes might make you IMPERFECT, but believe me imperfection is way cooler than being SIMPLY PERFECT a.k.a BORING!

"Life is too short to mull over yesterday,
Life is too short to worry about tomorrow;
Life is all about making the most of today!"

Tied together!

Our life is a story, as we keep meeting people other people's stories get interlined with ours and make a few chapters in our life's story. These stories create relationships and relationships tie us with people. Relationships make us social and wanted in the society. Each one of us is tied with many threads of relationships. Sometimes these threads pull us so hard that we want to break free, while a few threads are left so loose that we hardly take notice or them until they are cut off from our life's story leaving only chapters to read.

“If conversation was the lyrics, laughter was the music, making time spent together a melody that could be replayed over and over without getting stale.”
―Nicolas Sparks

The ties of relationships are like the music of our life, meaning, without them life would be monotonous. People may say that let go off a relationship or a person and if they are meant to be in your lives then they would eventually make their way back. But I disagree. Holding on to a relationship or a person makes them realize that you value them enough to be insulted for not letting things be when they want it that way.

It is always easier letting go,
what is hard is holding on.

Relationships are the ties that tie us human beings together, they make humanity. Never break them. Always remember it's good to be "TIED TOGETHER".
