In times where one has a 1000 friends on Facebook, many followers over Twitter; people have forgotten the beauty of real relationships. Gone are the times when you had to wait for the vacations to end to see your friends back at school, thanks to Skype. Gone are the times when lovers hid from the world just to be together, today they hide from each other behind the computer screens. Gone are the days when people liked people instead of liking the statuses on Facebook. Also, gone are the days when love letter meant the ultimate display of love instead of a mushy post on your Facebook wall.
Today, a love story begins with a friend request, blossoms over messages over Facebook and texts, and ends with a sad status and blocking the person, forever. Where has the beauty of sharing promises, secrets, fights, patch-ups in person gone? We are living in a virtual reality. Friendship, relationships, etc seem more significant to us over the internet rather than when approached face-to-face. Why?
They say if you are not on Facebook, you don't have a life. But, in my opinion life is always lived Off-line. Life has its beauty in shared memories with your loved ones and memories are created when you are together. Step out of the Virtual Reality And Get A Life! :D
